Coeur d'Alene Installs State-of-the art Equipment Upgrades

The Coeur d'Alene Window Company has completed the installation of four new Greller Four Point Welders. The welders were manufactured in the United States at Greller's Ohio manufacturing plant and feature pinch knife technology that reduces weld residue compared to other machines. Coeur d'Alene has installed new corner cleaning technology and upgraded software as well.
AAMA Adds Euro-finish to Certified Products Directory

The Coeur d'Alene Window Company is pleased to announce that its Euro-bronze finish has passed all individual tests associated with AAMA 613-17a (Voluntary Specification, Performance Requirements and Test Procedures for Organic Coating on Plastic Profiles). The company believes it is important to have third party verification of the quality and performance of its coatings to ensure that products will look good and perform for years to come.

Most window manufacturers rely on third parties to apply colors to their products. Many third party applicators utilize a wide variety of finishes and often switch based on color preference or cost.
At The Coeur d'Alene Window Company, we are pleased to work with Kolorbond International, LTD. They supply both our Euro-finish and Spectracoat/Royal Bond products. Kolorbond has also performed adhesion and impact tests on Coeur d'Alene applied finishes.
The Coeur d'Alene Window Company has implemented Kolorbond's quality system requirements and been certified as an approved applicator.
Coeur d'Alene Introduces ADA Auto-lock Cover

The Coeur d'Alene Window Company has introduced a new auto-lock cover that makes single-hung windows ADA compliant. The lock is available now and should appear in quoting software by November 1.

Coeur d'Alene Introduces Glazing Bead Upgrade

Coeur d'Alene Windows is again challenging the notion that vinyl windows need to be made cheaper and cheaper materials. The company has just introduced a stonger, thicker glazing bead that enables the bead to provide more compression to the glass while providing a cleaner more attractive look.
